Melinda Kollross Moderates DRI Amicus Panel Presentation
Shareholder Melinda Kollross, Chair of Clausen Miller’s Appellate & Trial Monitoring Practice Group, recently moderated a DRI webinar entitled “Strategic Use of Amicus Support: When to Seek It, How to Get It, and Tips for Working with Amicus Counsel.” Melinda currently chairs the DRI Center for Law and Public Policy’s Amicus Committee. She was joined by panelists Larry Ebner, Lorie Gildea, and Susan Snowden, who all serve on the DRI Amicus Committee. The webinar presented a practical panel discussion for in-house counsel on identifying cases appropriate for amicus participation, building effective relationships with amici, coordinating briefing strategy, and maximizing the persuasive value of amicus advocacy while avoiding common pitfalls. The presentation was so well received that it may repeated at DRI’s 2026 Annual Meeting in Washington DC this fall.
