Sandra Kupelian Joins Clausen Miller’s Appellate & Trial Monitoring Practice Group
Clausen Miller is thrilled to announce the addition of experienced appellate advocate, trial monitor and educator Sandra Kupelian to its nationally preeminent Appellate & Trial Monitoring Practice Group. Sandra brings three decades of experience to her new role at Clausen Miller.
Sandra has a deep understanding of the law, with combined experience in the worlds of civil litigation and academia and a career focused on writing. Prior to joining the firm, Sandra spent 14 years as an educator, most recently as the Director of both the Legal Writing & Analysis and Lawyering Skills programs at Northern Illinois University College of Law. She has also served on the writing faculty at DePaul University College of Law.
As a practicing partner for a 100+ lawyer firm and spinoff boutique in Chicago, she represented clients at both the trial and appellate levels where she crafted compelling briefs, opinion letters, and dispositive motions on matters involving product liability, toxic tort, professional liability, and general liability.
Sandra clerked for Justice Marvin D. Dunn and Justice James Quetsch of the Illinois Appellate Court, Second District before joining private practice.
