Biography

Rob is an associate with the firm’s New York Office. Rob concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation.

Rob began his career as a clerk in the Stamford Superior Court assigned to the judges in the Civil Division of the Court, working closely with the different judges on a daily basis. Having gained a great deal of experience in Connecticut’s civil practice, he was then promoted to Civil Caseflow Coordinator for the Stamford/Norwalk Judicial District where he was responsible for the management and scheduling of all civil cases in the Judicial District.

After his time with the Court, Rob became a sole practitioner in Connecticut representing clients in civil, family, criminal, and small claims matters. In addition, based upon his experience in civil matters, Rob was appointed as a Civil Special Master for the Stamford Superior Court by the Presiding Judge of the Civil Division which involved pre-trying civil cases to resolve them without having to go to trial. As a Special Master and a private mediator, Rob had a strong success rate of resolving cases to the satisfaction of all concerned.

In 2018 and prior to joining Clausen Miller, Rob worked as an associate at two medium sized insurance defense firms specializing in No-Fault insurance claims. Representing different insurance carriers, appearing in Court, drafting motions and pleadings and conducting examinations under oath of individuals on behalf of the insurance companies.

A graduate of Gettysburg College with a BA in Political Science and History, Rob went on to earn his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law. While in law school, Rob was awarded with the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award in Communications Law.

Rob currently lives in Long Island with his wife. He is an avid sports fan and die-hard baseball fan, always watching one, if not more games at once.
