Michael Scott Selected as Fellow for Florida Bar Leadership Academy
Clausen Miller proudly announces that Michael Scott has been named a Fellow for the Florida Bar’s Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy.
The Leadership Academy assists lawyers across Florida in developing vital skills and resources that will help them excel in both the legal profession and in their communities. Mike was one of only 29 attorneys chosen for this highly selective fellowship.
During his one-year term as a Fellow, Mike will attend various meetings throughout the state aimed at bolstering professional development and increasing legal knowledge and experience. The first meeting will take place at the Annual Florida Bar Convention in Jacksonville on Friday, August 18.
Throughout the program, Mike will hear presentations on numerous topics related to workplace and leadership skills in addition to participating in beneficial networking events.

Mike Scott focuses his practice on first party property insurance and worker’s compensation defense. He has substantial experience representing Florida’s largest homeowner’s property insurance companies and defending municipalities and national companies in high exposure worker’s compensation cases.
